Latest Fortnite Betting News & Updates

Over the last year Fortnite has seen multiple iterations, updates, and versions but the latest set of updates may be some of the most exciting yet! The latest version brings back an upgraded guided missile, Jetpacks, Slurp Juice, and the removal of name plates for plays on opponents. Some very significant features for a game that is definitely considered one of the hottest esports games in 2018.

Guided Missile

During it’s short time away from the game, the team at Epic Games tweaked and tuned the Guided Missile. During it’s original appearance in Fortnite, the guided missile was too strong and unrealistic for anyone using the weapon. Often used to destroy opposition structures the weapons new release is definitely something to consider if you bet on Fortnite. The newest version has been equipped with a fuse duration of 15 seconds, movement speed of 1000, and a reload time of 2.2 seconds. On top of the adjusted movement speeds, the inflicted damage has been severally decreased to only 74/77 on players and 400 on structures. Explosion capabilities now damage structures with no regard for Line of Site and the latest version of the guided missile can be controlled via keyboard using the default movement outputs. With all these adjustments to the performance it is safe to say the guided missile has been significantly restructured for lower destruction capabilities compared to the original version.

Slurp Juice

According to Epic Games some of the updates have not yet gone live, but the rumour is that soon enough Slurp Juice will be back in Fornite gameplay.

Jetpacks

The limited time items released in v4.2 of Fortnite are back for the summer! Jetpacks were a huge hit when they were offered in May and Epic Games has decided to offer them again in the latest version of Fortnite. Jetpacks are considered legendary items and can be found in treasure chests throughout the map. They are generally very limited items and may take a couple of rounds to find one. The alternative backpack for your character will fill a space in your inventory and is equipped similar to any other weapon. This feature enables your character to fly when hitting the jump button while in the air. The horizontal movement is relatively limited but as long as you are holding down the jump button you will continue to gain altitude.

The Jetpack is equipped with a finite amount of fuel which is indicated on either side of the pack so be sure to account for how much remains when flying. Attempts to fly without any fuel or running out of fuel in the middle of a flight will result in falling damage. Fuel does begin to recharge as you navigate on the ground and when you aren’t using it.

The Jetpack comes with many enhancements including the ability to shoot and throw grenades at opponents while airborne. It also gives players better site lines and a larger scope of the map without having to attract opponents with obvious structures.
