How to Bet on CSGO

If you are familiar with the concept of regular sports betting, proceed to the next section. If not, you have a choice: either go directly to our full esports betting guide or stick around for a shortened and simplified version below.

CSGO betting is a team sport, which means it falls under the same umbrella (no pun intended Rihanna) as the regular sports betting.

Once you log into your sportsbook of choice, everything will probably look like the inside of an alien spaceship, but don’t worry, we’ll quickly sort that out for you.

Here are some things you’ll need to learn before you start betting:

How to deposit

If you have ever purchased something online, then depositing money to one of the sportsbooks should be as easy as saying cyka blyat while squatting in your Adidas jumpsuit.

Depending on the individual website, the process goes like this:

  1. Create your account
  2. Choose your preferred deposit & withdrawal method
  3. Connect with your payment system (if you have a Payoneer card, for example, you would enter your card details)
  4. Enter your deposit amount
  5. Done!

You can deposit money through your Credit (Debit) Card or other popular online payment systems, such as Payoneer, Skrill, Neteller and PayPal. We advise you to use something like Neteller or Skrill, as using them gives you quicker withdrawal processing time as well as a lesser minimum deposit in most sportsbooks.

Each betting site has a minimum deposit, but some of them have great bonuses. You can check out the new player bonus deals in our rankings area.

How to place a bet

Since a single CSGO match is played between two teams, the basic betting strategy for you would be to predict the match winner. The teams are marked 1 and 2 in all betting platforms so you just need to:

  • Click on the odd in the row belonging to your preferred team
  • Enter the deposit amount in your betting slip (usually on the right side of the website)
  • Submit the request and you’re good to go

After you place a bet, be sure to remember to watch it live, as it will be an exciting experience. You don’t know what cheering is until you’ve placed a bet on one of the teams. Especially if you’re supporting a team from your country.

How to withdraw

Withdrawing the funds from your account is usually done through the same method you used for depositing. So if you used Neteller, for example, the betting opereator will credit your winning prize back to your Neteller account. Most sportsbooks offer a method to specify a separate withdrawal account, which is something you’ll have to check with each individual operator.

Most esports betting sites just let you click the “Withdraw” button from your account, after which the funds are automatically transferred to your bank account.

When it comes to withdrawing, you will encounter different processing times for each withdrawal method.

Here are some guidelines:

Withdrawing to online virtual wallets (Skrill, Neteller, Payoneer, PayPal) takes anywhere from 6-24 hours.

Withdrawing to credit and debit cards takes anywhere between 24-48 hours.

Bank transfers are the slowest and can take anywhere from 5-15 days.

NOTE: The primary purpose of betting should be casual fun. We do not support addiction nor do we promote it, which is why it would be smart to check out our fun post that describes the right mindset when betting on esports.  If you are, on the other hand, interested in creating a second income with betting, you will need to learn advanced strategies, all of which are covered in our very own betting academy.

CSGO Betting Tips and Predictions

By now, you have learned where to bet and how to bet. The next step is to drill down into the details and fine tune your betting slips to the point where you will be forbidden to enter the majority of the online sportsbooks. Jokes aside, there are many aspects to a successful betting strategy and one of those is to analyze the matches through simple statistics.
